Mobile App Privacy

Data Collection Philosophy

Our apps are designed with privacy-first principles. We prioritize local data storage and on-device processing whenever possible.

HabitTracker App Specifics

  • Local Storage: All habit data, journal entries, and personal information are stored locally on your device using CoreData/SwiftData.
  • On-Device AI: Sentiment analysis and insights are processed entirely on your device using Apple's Natural Language framework. No data is sent to external servers.
  • Optional iCloud Sync: If you enable iCloud sync, your data is encrypted and synced through Apple's CloudKit. We cannot access this data.
  • No Third-Party Analytics: The app contains no tracking SDKs or third-party analytics services.
  • Notifications: Local notifications are managed on-device. No external notification services are used.

General App Data Practices

  • Minimal Data Collection: We collect only data essential for app functionality.
  • No Sale of Data: We never sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Security: Data is encrypted in transit and at rest where applicable.
  • User Control: Users can delete their data at any time through app settings or by contacting us.
